People tell me I am easy to talk to.  That comes in handy when you're a psychotherapist.  One of the most important things to me is that my client feels comfortable. Just as a flower cannot grow without soil, water or sunlight, I believe a person cannot grow in therapy if they do not feel comfortable and connected with their therapist.  


I have worked as a psychotherapist on Long Island since 2014.  Most of my work has been in outpatient mental health clinics and university counseling centers.  In 2019, I started my own private psychotherapy practice. My therapeutic approach is mindfulness informed, and is also psycho-dynamic and cognitive behavioral in nature.  I also teach mindfulness meditation.  I earned my qualification as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through the University of Massachusetts. I teach MBSR at schools and corporations around Long Island, as well as privately at my Meditation Center, The Mindful Place.
